Today, I’m thrilled to share with the advisory community, that SS&C has acquired Salentica, a leading provider of CRM solutions to advisory firms. Many of you are already familiar with Salentica based on its strong reputation for providing customized CRM solutions to large, complex advisory firms. Today it becomes part of the SS&C family. We are excited to deepen the already strong relationship we have with the Salentica team and to get to work on executing our plans to expand integrations and support for our shared clients including those running Black Diamond, APX, Axys, and SS&C’s Global Wealth Platform.
Fundamentally, this is an acquisition about adding deep expertise in CRM, a key component of the advisor technology ecosystem, and bringing that experience to our clients. Salentica excels in providing integrated CRM solutions for both Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce CRM platforms. We are particularly excited about the success the Salentica team has had in the last year with the launch of its Salesforce customized solutions to advisors, which offers access to the new Lightning Design Experience, the most modern user interface of Salesforce environments. The Salentica team has done a fantastic job with their Salesforce solution, bringing implementations to “the final mile” with tailoring for the unique needs of its clients.
I’m excited to welcome Bill Rourke, President and Founder of Salentica, and his entire team into the SS&C family. Bill and I have worked together for years and share a passion for the advisor industry, partnering with clients, and a belief on how the right combination of technology and service can play a key role in your growth.
This acquisition is another example of the investments we are making in advisor technology. Many of you saw the recent announcement at SS&C Deliver where we shared advancements in the Black Diamond wealth platform and a unified experience that combines Black Diamond’s wealth platform capabilities with financial planning tools from Advizr and risk alignment insight from Riskalyze.
Salentica is also making significant strides in its innovation. In addition to providing a customized wealth management CRM within the Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics platforms Salentica is launching a new Data Broker module that will allow clients to take advantage of custom integration data mapping that is flexible within any version, or even their own environment, of the Salesforce and Dynamics platforms. The Data Broker solution is unique and differentiated from how others in the industry have executed enhanced Salesforce solutions in that it provides significant flexibility to tailor and customize each firm’s implementations. Salentica is also the only dedicated CRM provider with real-time custodial integrations through its “live view”.
