All systems go! Attending IASA 2017

By Jen Molgano

Amidst 1,000 attendees and key players in the insurance space, we were thrilled to showcase the SS&C booth, catch-up with our clients, and meet new people at IASA 2017. We had an enjoyable, busy three days at the event—hosting a raffle for two tickets to Universal Studios, leading two vendor connect tours, moderating the Chief Investment Officer Roundtable, and kicking off our insurance survey.

IASA2Our two vendor connect tours were led by Elena Kulakovska and Abhilash Viswanathan. Elena hosted a live demo of our Global Gateway solution and explained how it meets insurance companies’ needs for providing timely, accurate investment reporting, while managing and growing their portfolio. Abhilash provided an overview our accounting, audit & tax consulting services. He shared with the audience real life examples including how our business process consulting services helped a US insurer migrate to an outsourced model, resulting in increased efficiencies and automation.  As a thank you to our tour attendees we were pleased to give them a Stow-N-Go picnic blanket!

IASA3Jim Ramenda, senior vice president of Risk, moderated the Chief Investment Officer Roundtable. The keynote speaker of this roundtable was given by Dennis Lockhart, recent President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta who discussed the current economic environment.

The IASA conference provided us with an excellent opportunity to launch our 2017 Insurance Survey which is designed to determine key technology trends among insurance companies. To participate in our survey, please click here.

IASA4The IASA Conference was a huge success and we hope to see you there next year! For a full list of events we’re attending this year, visit our website here.
